Psychology today is not just a science for the chosen – it’s the help for everyday life, to improve your lifestyle, mind health and body health as well. It’s something like everyday magic when you know what, how and when to do. What to do with your mind, soul, body, how to relax, how to avoid stress, and to improve the health of your mind and when to pay attention to your health and ask for help of professionals.
I’m not going to make some famous example – I’ll tell a couple of words about me. I’ve been studying Psychology since University and still doing it with a great interest. I always thought that I’m the one who isn’t inclined to depression or serious stress because I have a strong character and inexhaustible optimism in my soul. I was absolutely wrong. Time breaks the strongest stones and dries the deepest rivers. The time taught me not to be judgmental and also I understood that I don’t know myself, and that people can change. I still don’t know myself perfectly but I learn to listen myself and that means that I’m always changeable. And you are too. That is what makes our lives so unpredictable, so interesting, so exciting.
Here you cannot find the remedy from all the problems but you can learn to be wise and sensitive to yourself and to others. Never look for the one who is guilty in your problem just find the way to solve it. Psychology is a great science that gives power for understanding people around, the reason of human’s behavior, the sense of upbringing, education, training; why one person is kind and generous and the other is rude and evil. Psychology can teach you how to resist misfortune and how to become successful, how to relive stress and get success at work, how to make friends and find love and keep it in your life forever, etc. All of these seem impossible as the witch’s spell but these are important knowledge that gives us Psychology.
One of the most horrible and difficult diseases of our time is depression. In some cases it is incurable and brings to spiritual death. It is dangerous but it is possible to avoid or to cure it on the early stage. Do not think that it is some kind of dissoluteness (as I used to think) and you have no susceptibility to it. Everyone has in some definite circumstances. Depression can be provoked by physical indisposition but depression (mental disorder) can bring to some physical illness as well. Your mood is always an indicator of your state. Always pay attention to your mood. Is it enormously high without a reason or it is low for a long time – it is always worth of paying attention. Frankly speaking, it is impossible to avoid psychological stress at all but you can take measures to avoid its consequences. Psychology of personality is a very complicated object for study and research but so interesting and useful that you’ll be surprised. Just think how many aspects it covers: Psychology of relationship, Psychology of success, Psychology of woman and Psychology of man, Psychology of sex and Psychology of love (and it is not the same as well as instinct and feeling), Psychology of child, Psychology of mind, Psychology of health and even Psychology of color… – almost everything in our lives. Why “almost”? Because human Psychology is good only for humans. That’s all.
We all suffer from some kind of inferiority complex, was it brought up by our parents in some way; or the society with all its rules brought us to some complexes or phobias; was it a hereditary specialties or appeared in childhood, or something happened when you were a teenager. And may be someone of movie stars or famous singers (no matter who) influenced your life position and you have been in search of the same way of life, achievements and appearance like your idol… and almost everyone of us do this or did and it’s not a problem if you do not eager to copy your ideal, to substitute your life with his or hers, loosing yourself. And if you do – than you’ll definitely loose at all. Stop when it’s not to late.
One of the keys to a good mood and happy life is when you definitely understand that you are an unique person, unlike someone else, may be not special but absolutely necessary to this world. And when you understand this truth you’ll loose “the chains” of  complexes, you will be able to look into face of your phobia and find its reason and get free of it. The problem of overweight, for example, won’t be a question of ugliness or beauty or fitting some stupid rules imposed by trends, fashion and manufacturers. It’ll be the question of your comfort and health.
Psychology is one of the helpful sciences to understand yourself and may be even heal yourself in some way, it learns people to be attentive to yourself, to find your perfect lifestyle, to get to now how to relax when it is necessary for you, because the art of relaxation is one of the most important for our spiritual and physical health.

I drink mint tea when I feel nervous or cannot fall asleep, take herbal bath or add some foam or oils with nice aroma in the warm water and give myself a twenty-minute of emptiness in my head and absolute body relaxation. I try not to be disappointed when I’m loosing or breaking things, when I’m late for my bus or get into a puddle with new shoes, because all that stuff cannot be more important than my health and nothing happens without reason in this world.
Enjoy your life, build your new great future, never loose faith, be optimistic, pray and smile, and dream, always forgive. And remember – your life is a mirror and it reflects only that you show to it.
